Nick Bristol

Managing Director

Prior to founding Bristol Ebinger, Nick Bristol was an investment analyst with the Structured Finance Group at Prudential Investments, one of the largest buyers of private placement ABS. During his tenure, he helped to run a $4 billion ABS/CDO fixed income portfolio. He interacted regularly with traders, salespeople, research strategists, bankers, and marketers from top investment banks.

At Prudential, Nick quickly realized the importance of cultivating a strong team and the difficulty in finding and retaining qualified talent. In professional recruiting, he saw an opportunity to leverage his extensive professional network, as well as his fixed income knowledge including passing level II of the CFA. Nick took up the challenge and transitioned smoothly into his new career, starting a Structured Finance practice of a NYC recruiting firm that had no prior relationships in that market. He cultivated many successful client relationships before breaking out on his own and founding Bristol Ebinger.

Bill Ebinger

Managing Director

Bill began his successful recruiting career in 1996. At his prior firm, he started out as a territory manager handling the Midwest. He specialized in sales and sales management searches in the software industry. He was awarded "Rookie of the Year" in 1996, and became the lead recruiter at his firm for the following five years. He was promoted several times, and managed many successful recruiters during that time period. During his last two years, Bill was Director of Business Development, focusing on establishing many new client relationships and developing effective lead strategies. His efforts helped to grow the business from a base of 10 recruiters to nearly 30, and substantially increased revenue during his tenure.

After eight years as a leading recruiter in the technology industry, Bill joined Bristol Ebinger. As Managing Director, Bill is responsible for expanding market share and establishing Bristol in emerging growth areas. He was recruited to leverage the firm’s existing relationships and scale the organization to a global leader in fixed income recruiting.
